1 Strategy to foster 100 Skills for a holistic human intelligence

There is a call for competency-based education. This is not a new concept. It just evolved so much. And the list of skills is growing exponentially. Actually, circularly. Take for example the Durable Skills model. I like that models have become circles. That's how I envisioned my Creativity Globe model. The OECD's Learning Compass 2030 is circular. Maybe circle models mean that we are focusing on skills that are whole and human. Human intelligence.

It reminded me of my painting Stepping into Creativity, that you can see in this article's image. I painted it after reading The alchemist by Paulo Cuelho. You see, there's a mountain of human creativity, and a small path heading inside. I thought, how does my 5 Es strategy robot model fit into it? Well, it's there, waiting to help you, to facilitate entering in. And the entrance is open for everybody.

In our Human intelligence movement's conversation, we suggested that human skills should be elevated not only in education, but for all workforce. I learnt from a recent conversation with author and veteran Microsoft strategist, Bob Heath, that even a master's degree doesn't mean finding a job nowadays, because of education's focus on knowledg instead of on skills.

I just know that it could be that human skills are about a hundred, as in the Durable Skills model. There are probably more. I could write a whole book about human skills. Yet human intelligence is one, whole, holistic. So, we need one strategy to let it shine. Learn more about my 5 E's strategy by the igniting video on my website's books page. Order a Lecture, and professional development, and do check out our upcoming events, to refreshen teachers' educational approach, gain a holistic view of creativity in the classroom, and empower with creativity professionalism. Let's take the path in.

Creatively yours,
